As a 2007 graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta, Lori Wyatt is a steadfast Interior Design professional, offering a focused and specialized understanding of Hospitality design. Her expertise and professional achievements, combined with leadership skills and superior client service, position her to thrive in this challenging and creative profession. Fluent in the fundamentals of Interior Design and Project Management, through all phases of Design, including the preparation of plans & working drawings, design presentations, visual renderings, material selection, sample requests, specifications and details, as well as the review of shop drawings, submittals, and mock-ups to ensure quality and consistency. Addresses challenges, such as construction delays and the high cost or sudden unavailability of selected materials, while keeping each project on time and under budget. Successful at listening to the needs of each client and collaborating with teams of varying complexities to produce solution-oriented designs, which flow into exceptional spaces that in turn, provide a maximum return on investment.
Lori’s projects have been primarily focused on major renovations and conversions to existing hotel properties. Additionally, her combined work history includes tribal casinos, food and beverage venues, small commercial offices, and residential kitchen & bath projects. Lori offers substantial on-site installation experience from working directly with a furnishings installation crew, which provided her with expertise in procurement and quality control, as well as overseeing the freight management and installation of guestroom and public space furnishings in various high-end hotels, condominiums and senior living establishments. She was also employed as a multi-line Sales Rep, offering brand-approved casework, seating, lighting and various outdoor furnishings to the design community.
Through her volunteer work with the NEWH Atlanta chapter (Board of Directors: 2010 – 2014), Lori participates in meaningful events and networking opportunities, and truly values the professionalism and energy reflective of the very best spirit of Design.
Well-versed with programs such as AutoCAD\Microstation, SketchUp, Procore, Trello, Adobe Photoshop, SpecBook Pro, Studio Designer, and Microsoft Office\Outlook\Teams (learning Revit currently).
